Had a great weekend, Saturday we went shopping for a new dining table. Finally found one we both like.
Sunday we went for a mooch round Maldon. Then on to the rose and crown for our free meal. Had a complaint last year and they sent us a voucher.
Im now on week 4 of my new sleeping routine to try and reset my internal clock.
5 days on sleeping pills, 2 days off.
Not going to well, was awake till 4 am. My days off are awful. But im back at the Drs on friday to get my xray results for my knee. So hopefully she will have another suggestion.

February and an update of life
Today is the 1st of Feb where did January go?
Well we left the EU last night, so now another year of discussion. Will this ever end?
As its a Saturday a bit of cooking going on. Chicken stew and beef stew.
trying to be consious of not throwing food away this year.
Lots of things have happened since my last post in 2013.
All the obvious, Weddings, new babys, divorce, death, college, university and big birthdays.
But im not dwelling on the past. the future is were we are now. And our household will change.
My last munchkin will be flying the nest to house share for his second year at uni.
This will leave me and hubby alone for the first time ever...apart from the odd holiday.
To explain...I met my hubby around 1982/3..he was a loud gobby londoner. He was ok, but me coming from a tiny essex village it was all to much. We sort of dated but nothing serious, my nan then died and i sort of went of the rails. I went out with far to many men. Anyway this resulted in a pregnacy, the father didnt want to know. I was fine with that i was prepared to cope on my own. At this time i belonged to a club, went to a new years eve party and who was there but hubby to be. So there i am 5 months pregnant....and there he was and he has been my rock ever since.
The weekend i was due, i get a phone call...."She doesnt want the kids anymore, Im at my mums" He had been visiting his 2 children. So having gone from no children to suddenly we were a family of 3. We finally married in 1988, had 2 more children. So its been a full household.
Should also say he had a massive car crash in 2000, that put a tremedous amount of strain on our marriage, just to say he's not the man i married.
So we have never lived together alone, how is it going to pan out i wonder?
The last couple of years we have been taking weekends away, but on our major holidays there has always been 4 of us.
So to prepare for the departure of munchkin 5, we have started going to on sort of dates. Pictures and dinner, that sort of thing. Got a holiday booked for halfterm week, i work in a primary school so all hols have to been peak holiday time.
Really should be enjoying my retirement, but of course the government moved the goal posts.
So the next chapter of our lives begin, what will unfold, who knows??? W
